Don Lilljedahl
Lead Vocals / Guitar
Don Lilljedahl's
powerful lead vocal is featured on the majority of the band's songs
and is accompanied by his own strong rhythm guitar backing.
Don leads the band through a variety of moods and tempos, tying each
song to the next with witty patter and warm, native-Texan humor.
His friendly, engaging style is the reason that people come back
night after night to see and hear The WST Bluegrass Band.

Gary Ranous
Lead Vocals / Bass
Although a native of New York, Gary
Ranous is equally comfortable singing an Irish tenor solo like
"Danny Boy," Civil War ballads like "Lorena" and "Two Little Boys,"
melodic novelty songs like "Grandfather's Clock," or the southern
tune "Bluegrass Melody." Gary's classical choral and
barbershop experience combine with his bass playing to provide for
WST perhaps the two most important ensemble parts: The rhythmic
foundation and that all important high (and I mean high) tenor.

Charlene Crump
Vocals / Fiddle / Mandolin
Charlene Crump is a native of Texas.
She began her music training at age 6 on the piano. Later she
became interested in fiddle and she bought her own and began to play
in a band with her uncle. Her great grandfather, grandfather,
and father were Texas fiddle players. Charlene is the glue
that holds the band together. She kicks off most of the tunes
with just the right tempos, directs the instrumental breaks, and
puts down her mandolin and picks up her fiddle to join Mary in
rarely heard Texas twin harmony fiddle duets.
